In 30^th May, Chen Ning, the president of Chengdu Normal University, and Chen Yuping, the director of International Cooperation and Exchange Office, with 22 students who joined in the Summer Work & 

Travel  USA Program attended the conference. President Chen told the students that the aim of this program is to open up their outlooks, enhance their English proficiency, to increase working experience, 

and to boost their competitiveness. Also, President Chen asked the students to comply with the local laws and respect local customs and religious belief. After that, the student representative made a statement 

that the students joining this program will work hard in the United States and come back safely.
