College of Fine Arts held grandly forum of 60 Anniversary

On July 4, the College of Fine Arts grandly held the monthly sub-forum of the 60th anniversary of Chengdu Normal University. More than 200 alumni from all over the province gathered in our university.

Beginning at 8 am, many alumni came to the forum of the College of Fine Arts, and volunteers warmly led them to the sign-in booth and issued souvenirs. To complete this forum successfully, the Fine Arts College designed anniversary commemorative badges, and just inside the small badges did the friendship, appreciation and sincerity unite together. To wear these badges was to express the meaning: We are family!

At 10 am, the anniversary forum started, it was presided by the Deputy President Yue Zhenghua, and on behalf of our university, Professor Xiong Gang extended a warm welcome to the alumni who have cared for and supported the university for a long time, sincere gratitude to the teachers who have devoted a lot to the education and development of the university, and cordial greetings to the students who chose and loved our university. Finally, all the representatives of alumni, teachers and students sent their best wishes to our university in their speeches.

In the afternoon, the forum of the Fine Arts College proceeded separately in the form of seminar and forum. The excellent teacher representatives gave two lectures entitled: “Inheritance and Innovation of Fine Arts Education based on Sichuan Regional Culture” and “I’ll let you fly by giving you a day.” While in the Arts Building 205, “Art Creation and Culture Development Forum” presided by Professor Zou Yanhong proceeded heartily, alumni expressed their own opinions one after another on the development and orientation of education of Fine Arts College. Along with the end of the forum discussion, the forum held by the Fine Arts College of the 60th anniversary of our university came to an end.
