More than 90 institues such as primary schools, secondary schools and kindergartens joined into Training Centre of a Teacher’s Professional Development

A ceremonyfor contractingmembership of Training Centre of a Teacher’s Professional Development was hold in our Wenjiang Campus on the morning of Apri, 19. According to the recommendation, more than 90 institutes achieved initial intent of cooperation and becamemembers of teacher professional development base. These institutes include primary schools, secondary schools kindergartens and educational research training division.

Ms.Wang Xiaodu, Vice Director of Education Commission in Sichuan Province, gave the warmest congratulations on our successful ceremony.Ms.Wang Xiaodu indicated that our university has played a leader role in emphasizing reform of teacher-training system for improvement of educational quality.

Mr. Cao Zijian, Party Secretary, on behalf of our university, gave a warm welcome to guests. Party Secretary Cao introduced the history of our university and well explained our university’s motto which is Truth, Faith, Love and Action. He also emphasized that we insist on principle of “Let students value their experiences at Chengdu Normal University as an unforgettable and beautiful journey in their lives”.

Both Ms.He Min, Deputy Head of Wenjiang District and Mr.Cui Yanqiang,

Vice President of Southwest University gave speeches to us.

Mr. Zhao Xikui, our Vice President, announced total 91 members of institutions and educational research and training centres. Mr. Liu Cunxun, our Vice President, made a contract with ech member. Mr.Cui Yanqiang, on behalf of Southwest University, gave an award of “Southwest University and Chendu Normal University’s postgraduate training centre”.

Li Xi, Director of Normal School Division in Educational Department of Sichuan Province, attended in this ceremony. Many relevant leaders attended this ceremony as well.
